Kelly Clancy is a neuroscientist interested in the general principles of biological information processing. After receiving her B.S. in physics from MIT, she worked for several years as an astronomer before serving in the Peace Corps in Turkmenistan. She received a Ph.D. in biophysics from UC Berkeley for her work in systems neuroscience, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Basel, Switzerland.
