First, thank you for all you are doing to keep us alive and safe. I know we are all faced with unprecedented challenges that comes with COVID-19, however your risks include your health and safety. The deep commitment you bring combined with the long hours and prolonged stress, heartache and adrenaline depletes you. You are staring fear and death in the face. I offer my experiences in the medical field and supporting healthcare providers to hold the space for you.
This is a challenging time for those who are considered high risk. Do you have complex medical issues? Are you 60 and older and concerned about a weakened immune system? With stay-at-home orders and the need for physical distancing, we are finding ourselves with a lot of time alone. It’s important to stay connected in whatever way you have, and get through this time together. I am here for you.
