Rae is an audio engineer and storyteller living and working in Oakland.
I work as an audio engineer, sound designer, and radio person. Wednesdays - Fridays you can find me at This American Life , where I’m on the team that mixes and scores the show. Mondays and Tuesdays you can find me either doing freelance work (With you, perhaps? Get in touch! ), or riding my bike.
From January 2017 - April 2019 I was regularly at the podcast and radio show Reveal, From the Center for Investigative Reporting , where I worked with their audio engineering team. I’ve also done podcast work (engineering and editorial) for Snap Judgement, 99% Invisible, Bloomberg Media, Marvel Entertainment, Slate, Pop-Up Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, Intuit, and an array of other folks.
