Kate Baker is an Australian fine art photographer. Born in Sydney in 1963 she now lives and is based in the Yarra Valley in Victoria. With her work represented in Berlin, New York and Melbourne, Kate's work is recognised and collected internationally. This website reflects Kate's portfolio as well as work under her teaching and mentoring umbrella, Lumen Naturae.

This series of work was inspired by Nijinsky, the genius Polish/Russian dancer from the early 20th century who changed the face of dance for ever. A collaboration with Aleix Martinez, soloist of the Hamburg Ballet, this work explores the creative essence that drove Nijinsky.
