Karen Troost, the South Carolina Singing REALTOR®, grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach in the Jacksonville, FL area. As a child, Karen aspired to be a professional musician and she excelled in academics and anything involving music, the violin, or singing.
Karen learned at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it, so that’s what she did. And she worked hard, earning a bachelor’s degree in music, and two master’s degrees—one in Library Science and one in Music—Opera Performance.
