Stryker Johnston Foundation awards Kalamazoo Defender 4 year grant to expand the Village project to fully operational capacity.
Thanks to this grant, Kalamazoo Defender expects to expand its physical footprint, hire additional social workers, and welcome in new community partners to help serve our clients.
This grant will also make it possible in the coming year for Kalamazoo Defender's Village to offer our clients drop-in daycare for court dates, job interviews, and to case/Village-related activities that are not ideal for children.
