Description: The Friends of Jubilee Gardens Ely were formed in 2003 to provide continued public participation in developing and maintaining the Gardens and also to extend awareness of, and encourage pride in, the Gardens.

Jubilee Gardens Ely were opened by HRH the Duke of Edinburgh on 11 February 2002 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee year of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
"The gardens provide the perfect link from Ely’s Waterside through to the City Centre.
The garden has open spaces for picnicking and free play as well as formal beds and one of the five pieces of Eel Artwork can be found here. It also has a toddler play area, water feature and bandstand.
