The 2023 Monmouth-Ocean County Special Olympics Track and Field Meet will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Long Branch High School. We need at least 30 (preferably more) volunteers to help with escorting athletes, scoring, timing, awards and other tasks associated with the event. Volunteers should plan on being at the high school by 8:30 AM. The meet is usually over by 2 or 3 PM. If you can't be there by 8:30 or can't stay the entire time, that's fine. Another wet and windy day dawned on Saturday April 29th for the Lake Como Spring Break 5K, and yet several hundred runners proved their mettle and braved the elements for another successful and fun JSRC event benefitting Team Shamrock and Tunnel to Towers.
