A dynamic and multifaceted musician, John Yankee has established himself in communities across the country to create, resurrect, build, and/or solidify music programs ranging from schools to regional choruses to professional ensembles.
John took over leadership of the Falmouth Chorale and brought both the size and the level of the group to new heights. He founded and directed numerous other groups, from the auditioned Chamber Singers to the Falmouth Chamber Players Orchestra to the Cape Conservatory Youth Chorale. He produced high-quality (and increasingly sold-out) concerts featuring the greatest classical pieces alongside popular music and little-known gems.
