PUBLICATIONS
I am a sociologist of religion, with over 15 years of post-secondary teaching and administrative experience. I have authored or co-authored 5 books and nearly 20 articles related to religion in Canada, religious nones, congregations, Christianity, and millennials. I have delivered well over 100 invited public lectures with scholars, church, and denominational leaders across Canada and the United States.
My academic interests developed as an undergraduate student at Nazarene University College. I obtained my MA and PhD at the University of Waterloo before heading to Ambrose University (Calgary, Alberta) in 2008 where I currently serve as Professor of Sociology, Director of the Flourishing Congregations Institute , and Chair of the Social Sciences Department .
