Hoosac Tunnel Then and Now

Welcome to my little place in cyberspace . I would like to illustrate some of the lesser-known aspects on the construction of the Hoosac Tunnel in northwestern Massachusetts. We will start our journey on the east side covering some of the methods used in the twenty-four year long “big dig”. We will then cross over Hoosac Mountain showing the locations of interest with both pictures and story.
