I would like to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of all the JHTA members in Hawaii.
Japan Hawaii Travel Association, JHTA, was established in 1970 with just a handful of members. Today, it has grown to a membership of more than 50 representing a wide variety of travel and tourism businesses such as airlines, hotels, ground transportations, tour & attractions, restaurants and financial institutions. The advisory members include organizations such as Consulate General of Japan, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Hawaii Tourism Japan and Hawaii Convention Center.
The purpose of JHTA is to support and promote the Japanese tourists coming to Hawaii. JHTA facilitates activities between local and federal governments and the tourism industry here in Hawaii, while contributing to our Hawaiian community by enriching the relationships. We have a mission to contribute and support building the sustainable tourism in Hawaii with respect to perpetuating and preserving Hawaii’s unique culture, rich history and wonderful natural resources. We aim to maintain the balance and respo
