Having started her career as a self-taught freelance makeup artist, she then became the beauty advisor for Benefit Cosmetics in NYC’s iconic Herald Square. Quickly making a name for herself in the industry, Julissa helped open New York City’s first Kiko Milano – a top Italian makeup brand.
After years of working in retail and freelancing, Julissa pivoted to focus on the film industry as a makeup artist for films such as C Street, Fair Market Value, Haunted, And Joyous. Later, she ventured into the fashion world and became a makeup artist for the BET Fashion Show and New York Fashion Week.
With eleven years of industry experience, Julissa is a seasoned makeup artist.
