Hello there! I'm Jen, a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Oxford ( Reuben College ). My research is primarily in the normative philosophy of computing. I also work on projects in intergenerational ethics and experimental philosophy.
My doctoral project is on artificial moral agency. I'm concerned with who—or what—should make moral decisions and why. My supervisors are Carissa Véliz and Alison Hills.
I'm an Oxford-Rueben scholar and a Forethought Foundation Global Priorities Fellow . I'm also an affiliated student with the Institute for Ethics in AI and a student researcher at the Oxford BioXPhi Lab .
