His plays and musicals have been developed and performed at The Players Theatre , Primary Stages ESPA , The PlayGround Experiment , Cone Man Running Productions , Kitchen Dog Theater , and the New York Theater Festival . His plays have been described as “hilarious,” “dangerous,” and “deeply relatable.”
As a composer, he is the founder and driving force behind the chamber music group the Ferrous Ensemble , with whom he’s released two full albums and various EPs and singles. His theater music includes the concert musical That Thing Inside and the operetta Burn Control .
He was educated at Juilliard , the Dramatist Guild Institute , Primary Stages ESPA , and Roundabout Theatre . He is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild , Opera America , the PlayGround Experiment , and the Viola da Gamba Society of America and a board member of Contemporaneous .
