09/04/2013 After an unusually cool summer, September moved in, but was unable to evict the prior month. August belatedly fired up the furnace ...comandeering a few hot days to demonstrate its significance before relinquishing control to the new schedule tenant. But the heat felt different, somewhat transient. Like a hurried passion clutching time already moving past. School buses are rolling, mornings are getting darker, jackets are waiting ...the summer days need to realize their opportunity is about done.
