I'm a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Information Technology at Carleton University where I work on understanding fundamental user input and multi-user experiences in immersive reality. I completed my PhD in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Lab at the University of Waterloo, advised by the late (and great) Prof. Edward Lank. I currently teach ITEC 4011, Artificial Intelligence for Digital Media, in the Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) program .

My research interests span a variety of domains within human-computer interaction, including, learning input techniques, extended reality (AR/VR/MR), and 2D/3D interaction – with the overarching goal of understanding human behaviour while interacting with emerging technology. On a more personal note, I am an intersectional feminist with an interest in challenging the "status quo", particularly when it comes to development of technology for diverse populations.
