Late post, but note that builds have been made for the final release. Source is available via git as usual.

I've ported the builds from autoconf/make to meson. You can find the changes in the meson branch of each of the projects. I am pretty pleased so far and plan to merge these to the main branches soon.

slapt-get is an APT like system for Slackware package management. It allows one to search slackware mirrors and third party sources for packages, compare them with installed packages, install new packages, or upgrade all installed packages. slapt-get is great for scripting as well.
