I'm a design engineer and researcher based in Hampshire. I make prototypes of products (mainly physical products: hardware, electronics, things that talk to the web etc.) and deliver research projects (UX, design, technology, innovation) for clients.
After studying product design at Brunel University, I worked in knowledge transfer and as a design engineer for an SME, using super-capacitor and microcontroller technologies to develop portable power products for industrial and military customers.
I moved on to study environmental policy at Imperial College, then worked for the RSA's Action & Research Centre , researching and writing about the implications of design, the behavioural sciences and technology on public services and society.
