I’m Jake Baskin, Executive Director of the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) in Chicago, where I work to make sure every K-12 computer science teacher has a community they can rely on.
I got my start studying computer science at Swarthmore College , taught high school computer science at Lindblom Math and Science Academy , and did outreach and government affairs work at Code.org . When it’s warm enough outside I like to ride my bike along the lakefront, go to White Sox games, and keep meaning to write more poetry.
