The Long Beach Police Department's Criminal Intelligence Section (CIS) is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and investigating criminal intelligence related to international and domestic terrorism, organized crime, and extremist activity. CIS Detectives serve with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force and work closely with local, state, and Federal law enforcement agencies related to criminal intelligence matters.
