Is respect the same thing as to like? We typically respect things that have some sort of value or use in the world. Even if we don’t prefer those things we can still respect their worth. Many people respect God, even if they don’t think about Him or talk about Him they respect Him by respecting all the things that come from Him, which are all good and useful things. The more we respect these things and take them into life the closer we get to heaven. Come and see!
