Suzy grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington. She joined Voyager in 1984 as a sequencer. She stayed with the mission through the Neptune encounter in 1989, later returning to Voyager as the mission's tenth and first female project manager in 2010.
Enrique grew up in Mexico. In 1986, JPL hired Enrique to reprogram a microcomputer for the Uranus encounter. He's been with Voyager ever since.
