The International School of Trieste is a community-focused school with students from Kinder 2 to Grade 13. IST recognizes the need for students to be equipped for an interconnected world as as global citizens with the skills needed to engage with people from many cultural backgrounds. We aim to provide our students with a well-rounded education which includes a focus on character and prepare them for diverse opportunities and future studies.

At IST, the community spirit encouraged in our students is also evident in our staff. As a non-profit organization with more than 50 years of history, the focus is firmly on supporting staff as they work to develop students as members of a global society while also ensuring their solid academic foundation.
