In late 2018, ISM was engaged by Beedie to detail, fabricate, and install over 2720 tons of structural steel for Sobey’s Inc., in South Surrey, BC. One of the many challenging portions of the project was the design, fabrication, and erection of the thirty (30) substantial vertical trusses, weighing 10-tons each. Being a major project encompassing 523,000 square feet, with significant extra work required to be installed simultaneously with the base building, with over forty-thousand (40,000) man hours worked
