The Village of Irma is a friendly community of 477 (2021 Census) people 90 minutes East of Edmonton and 20 minutes West of Wainwright.  Our motto is “Looking to the Future” as a growing community.

We have a world class ball area that has held National events, and youth tournaments with as many as 37 teams. We also have an Arena, curling rink, and golf course in the Village.

We have a K-12 school and in 2017 the province of Alberta announced Irma will be receiving a brand new school. Construction on this project was completed in 2020.
