Because you know you'll forget it!
When starting anything new , there is a tremendous amount of information to absorb. So, instead of my usual cycle of research, learn, try, forget and re-find(!), I thought I would make a conscious effort to record my notes in a blog, with the blog creation being part of the learning process! These notes are first and foremost for myself. Therefore, by and large, they are not meant to be full on tutorials. More a case of if I need to go back and find how I did something, I can do so with wasting hours or day
