I am a writer originally from  Tkaronto/Toronto, Treaty 13 and Williams Treaty territory, now living in Calgary — treaty 7 land and home of the Blackfoot Confederacy. I am the author of a few books, including the fix-up novel What We See in the Smoke (Crowsnest Books), and the novella Visitation Seeds (845 Press). My next novel: The Years Shall Run Like Rabbits, is forthcoming with Wolsak and Wynn for 2024!

I am currently a prose editor at Wrong Publishing and a first reader at Filling Station Magazine. I’ve completed an HBA from the University of Toronto, and an MA in English from The Toronto Metropolitan University. I have taught as a sessional instructor in Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing and Publishing program. I am currently a PhD student in English Literature at The University of Calgary , where I work on TIA House: The Insurgent Architects’ House for Creative Writing .
