Good-bye and Thank You: A Note from Elaine
In January 2013 I launched Indian River by Air as a retirement gift for my father. The logic behind this was that he would now have more time for his hobby of flying and photographing the sights around north Indian River and south Brevard counties, and a website with associated social media channels would give others the chance to enjoy this privileged bird’s eye view. I am afraid the day has arrived when I can no longer afford to spend this time running Indian River by Air. While John will still be flying over the Indian River region, today’s photo is the last of the scheduled images on social media and the website. It has been great to see the community that has developed over the past 4+ years, and John is still amazed that so many people were interested in his view from above.
