This is the UK’s most popular first aid course and suitable for most low-risk workplaces. If you already have any first aiders, this is probably the course they were qualified in. The qualification lasts up to 3 years, but to keep skillsets up to scratch, an Annual Refresher course is recommended.
HSE compliance standards vary depending on the level of risk. For hazardous workplaces, the 3-Day First Aid at Work is required. Most providers will recommend this course just to be sure, and for larger companies, having a few qualified on this course is generally good advice regardless of the risk level.
