IMERT is the medical response team for the State of Illinois. That means our focus is on the communities in our state. Our multi-disciplinary team of volunteers are trained to provide triage and emergent medical care.. Experience has shown that pre-trained and credentialed teams of disaster healthcare providers can respond more effectively to assist overwhelmed local resources.
