The Independent Fire Company is located in Ranson West Virginia. Ranson is an adjoining town to Charles Town and both are in Jefferson County which is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. All fire, rescue, and EMS incidents are handled by our volunteer members. Currently we protect a population of approximately 35,000 in 125 square miles as a first due company.
