The regional aid map established in the financial perspective for 2014-2020 significantly limits the attractiveness of applying for financial resources for companies from the Śląskie, Dolnośląskie and Wielkopolskie voivodships. Considering mainly medium and large companies, co-financing of projects at the level of 25-35% makes applying for funds from the European Union in these regions not attractive.
For projects concerning the construction of "new plants" or IT projects, an interesting alternative is to consider allocating investments to "Eastern Poland". Instytut Ekonomiczny „MODUS” Sp. z o.o. successfully supports several investment and research projects financed both from national funds (e.g. Loan for technological innovations) and regional operational programs of the Lubelskie and Podkarpackie voivodships.
