“The White House’s proposed budget is a blue-collar blueprint for building an economy that works for everyone. It strengthens Social Security and Medicare while investing in new energy technology and domestic manufacturing, which will create good, union jobs for working people across the nation.
We’re grateful that President Biden is proposing a $1.5 billion increase to the Labor Department's funding. This will boost critical worker protection agencies like the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, helping them better protect American workers.
