On Friday, May 19th, Huntingtown personnel attended the Calvert County Volunteer Fire Rescue and EMS Association awards banquet hosted by Solomons VRSFD. The association proudly inducted Milton Myers into the Calvert County Hall of Fame and recognized Michael Wells for fifty years of dedicated service. At 2149, units were dispatched for a house fire in the 3800 block of Dalrymple Rd. Units from North Beach went on scene with a fully involved vacant house. Engine 62 arrived and assisted with the dump site and Tanker 6 supplied approximately 10,000 gallons of water throughout the incident. Brush 6 handled spot fires caused by embers in the surrounding area. 6A and Chief 6 assisted with command.
