Imago Relationship Therapy is a technique that was created by Dr. Harville Hendrix and his wife Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt. They are the co-writers of "Getting the Love You Want", "Keeping the Love You Have" and "Receiving the Love You Deserve". This type of therapy helps to create a safe environment, while working on mending the rupture that has occured in the relationship. It encourages connection while also teaching how to effectively listen and communicate with your partner/family member.
