I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at PennState University working on Explainable AI within the NLP + HCI areas. I am broadly interested in the area of Human-AI Interaction . My current research interests lie in facilitating the usefulness of explainable AI algorithms from human-centered perspective. I'm particularly interested in improving human-centered AI interpretability and fairness in speech and natural language processing, conversational AI, and other deep learning fields.
Meanwhile, I am also working on speech processing research during my research internships with the fantastic Google AI Research Speech Intelligence Team, Amazon Alexa AI Speaker and ASR Language Modeling teams.
