I am an engineering manager at Apple SPG (Special Projects Group). My current research interests are data-centric deep learning approaches.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Stanford University as part of Stanford Machine Learning Group and Stanford Computational Policy Lab . I was advised by Andrew Y. Ng and Sharad Goel .
From 2021 to 2022, I worked on large-scale recommendation systems at TikTok . From 2017 to 2019, I worked at Landing AI where we initiated the AI-powered transformation of many industries. I primarily designed computer vision algorithms for efficient visual inspections (both static images and videos). Previously, I have spent time at Bytedance , CICC , Amazon , and Citadel .
