Back in the days before the internet, I would have had to send out the typical response cards with my invite. I actually still toyed with that idea since that’s what most people do, and that is what is expected.

I’m actually really happy I went the digital route for RSVPs. Not only did I save a little bit of money, it’s like a surprise whenever I check the site! In the traditional fashion, I would only get notice once a day when the mailman came. This way, I could check in the morning, afternoon and evening and get updated numbers each time! I do get email alerts when someone has RSVP’d but those go to an email I never check.
