Description: The Oregon Buddhist Temple is the oldest Buddhist organization in Oregon, founded in 1904. Our practice is Jodo Shinshu, an inclusive orientation to Buddhist practice. The founder, Shinran Shonin is known for bringing Buddhism to the lay people of Japan.

We are located in beautiful Portland, Oregon, and are affiliated with the Buddhist Churches of America which is headquartered in San Francisco, California. We have weekly services on Sundays at 10:00am. Our Sunday Services are both in person and online via zoom. All are invited and welcome. Masks are optional for in person services.
