An independent investigation conducted by the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney concludes two Honolulu police officers were justified in the use of deadly force against Caillen Gentzler on December 28, 2020 at the Ho‘okipa Kahalu‘u Apartments.
O‘ahu grand jury indicted Paul Cameron on April 26, 2023 for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and two felony firearms charges for allegedly attacking a 20-year-old woman in a Mililani parking lot with a gun and acid.
Kamaua Van Gieson, 26, was found guilty of Murder in the Second Degree for stabbing 18-year-old Dustin Molina then dragging him into the ocean to die on December 4, 2017.
