Hawaiʻi Says NO MORE is part of the Global NO MORE initiative, which is exemplified by a signature blue vanishing point originated from the concept of a zero – as in “no more” domestic violence and sexual assault anywhere in our relationships, families and communities.
In 2014, a group of 13 of Hawai‘i’s leading government agencies and non-profit organizations, along with the media, companies, schools, elected officials, advocates, influencers and survivors launched an unprecedented state-wide effort to increase awareness and visibility to prevent and end domestic violence and sexual assault.
Since then, Hawai‘i Says NO MORE has raised awareness about this violence across the state and encouraged public discussions to break the silence, shame, and stigma surrounding these issues.
