The Mission of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum is to promote and preserve the past, present, and future of hip-hop music and cultural arts. Additionally, we aim to highlight the role of hip-hop music & culture within culture overall and explore its social impact on the world. By doing so, we create and support projects that develop, inspire, educate, and enrich the hip-hop community, promoting socio-economic empowerment and urban development.
"The exhibits will feature memorabilia such as jackets, turntables, and posters donated by artists like Afrika Bambaataa , Grandmaster Flash , Run-DMC , Salt-N-Pepa , Snoop Dogg , Ice Cube , Outkast , Young Jeezy , Common and Eminem . There is also a planned juice and coffee bar, TV studio, shops, and a dedicated youth media program."
"The ground floor will reportedly include a themed cafe, gallery, visitor center, and gift shop, while upper levels will consist of the museum exhibits, events space, offices, and a multi-media studio for film, according to the press release. HHOF has also reportedly partnered with HHOF Arts & Media Youth Academy students to bring workshops on career training in tech and media."
