“I went to the doctor the other day, my annual checkup type of thing, and things are happening in my life that could be deemed as ‘I’m getting old.’ My doctor said to me ‘Well Clint, at least you have the opportunity to grow old.’”
Clint Crook was diagnosed at the young age of eight with petit mal epilepsy. A self-proclaimed “Lucky One,” Clint was fortunate enough to outgrow his diagnoses at the age of 14 – a very rare medical blessing. Today, he’s much more than a watch loving, quirky sock wearing Global Account Manager at Microsoft, he gives back in big ways.
Because he outgrew his diagnoses, Clint keeps those who were not as fortunate as he top-of-mind. Most recently, Clint donated two laptops to the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan . He and his coworker, Jeff Lee, had arranged for the computers to be donated to his cause that does so much for seizure management across Michigan - something that Clint no longer has to worry about, but Jeff’s wife does.
