Coming from a family of architects and having worked in fashion design, he goes further than writing and visual art. He has designed and recreated an entire alternate reality. Including music, locations, clothing and language.
His literature has elements of historical fiction, fantasy, science fiction and magical realism, although it is also contemporary and stands on it own. Freedom and isolation are important themes in his work. So are epidemics, gender identity and the power of voice.
