Prosthesis helps by enabling amputees achieve their dreams. After amputation, people often face depression. When they learn to walk for the first time the happiness on their face is beyond words. They are no longer dependent on anyone for their basic activities. Prosthesis helps people regain not only their self-respect and confidence, but also inspires others to stay positive.
The Helping Hands Foundation is a non-profit organization, which works with children who are diagnosed with cancer. We work on two projects – The Accommodation Project and The Survivor Project.
Our mission is to provide accommodation to every single child who comes to Mumbai for cancer treatment thereby ensuring zero abandonment due to lack of accommodation.
