To provide the citizens of Henderson County with an efficient method of accessing emergency 9-1-1 services and to support this service through proper 9-1-1 system equipment training for dispatch and communications personnel. On November 3, 1987, the voters passed a proposition creating the Henderson County 9-1-1 Communication District.
