Description: Since 1971, the squad has been known as the Hazlet Township First Aid & Rescue Squad. Over the years, it has expanded to cater to the growing population, operating from two buildings on each side of town. With five ambulances, a rescue truck, a special operations unit, a first responder vehicle, a rescue boat, a staging trailer, and a chief's vehicle, the squad efficiently handles approximately 1,700 calls annually. To meet this demand, members undergo top-notch training in first aid and rescue techniques.
