There are few things that my children love more than animals, Lucas especially is always happy to learn more and his trusty animal encyclopedia rarely leaves his side. Knowing that penguins are one of the animals he often stores nuggets of information about (many times I have been asked to rank my favourite types of penguin) being asked to celebrate the launch of March of the Penguins 2 was the perfect task for him.
As much as I love the idea of giving books as a gift it can be a daunting task. You have to know the person you’re buying for well enough to know what genre they’d enjoy and on top of that you’d need to know if they’ve read the book before or if it is currently waiting in a pile of books somewhere to be read. Much better, for us bookworms, is to give a bookish gift; a gift that is all about the love of books without actually being a book.
I realise it’s been a while since I’ve blogged now so yet again I’m trying to ease myself back into it with one of these round ups.
