Description: The Hapalua is the largest half-marathon in Hawaii. Starts in Waikiki on the second Sunday in April. Organized by the Honolulu Marathon Association. The Hapalua is open to everybody and there is no time limit.
The 2023 Hapalua will be back as an in-person event on April 16, 2023. Online registration is closed but you can register at the Expo on Friday & Saturday April 14 & 15. There are no qualifications to enter the Hapalua and there is no time limit. All participants get to finish.
The Chase is the elite race at the Hapalua. The best runners in Hawaii get head starts on invited professionals. The field is stacked with amazing athletes including Molly Seidel.

There is no time limit and all finishers get a beautiful medal and freshly made malasadas and shave ice! Hapalua means "half" in the Hawaiian language.
